Abstract
Flattop response is an important desirable feature of any wavelength selective components that go in a DWDM network. In this paper we report design and fabrication recipe for realizing flattop wavelength response of wavelength interleavers/slicers configured around all-fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometers (MZI). It involves simulation of wavelength response of concatenated MZTs followed by fabrication of the same. We would spell out the simulation details and fabrication recipe with supporting results. The results should be useful in realization of flattop all-fiber wavelength interleaves.
