Abstract
The Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) is an optimization problem that satisfies various constraints and minimizes the total route cost by multiple vehicles. Solving VRP can optimize transportation routes by swarm robots for pick-up and delivery of the loads in the warehouse or factories. In this paper, we propose a transportation routing method based on an A * algorithm and a Hill Climbing (HC) for the transportation with a WLAN connected Swarm Robot (WSR). The proposed method optimizes the transportation sequence and decides the transportation route of each WSR considering WLAN connectivity.
