Abstract
Conventional modeling approaches are inefficient for the analysis of electromagnetic radiation problem of shielding cable bundle. Thus, this paper aims at simplifying the modeling of electromagnetic radiation from braided shielding cable bundle. By grouping together the conductors, the complexity of modeling the complete cable bundle is significantly simplified with good accuracy, and the required computation time is markedly reduced over a large frequency range. A constructed model of braided shielding 17-conductor performed on a commercial software CST is illustrated to validate the efficiency and advantages of the presented method.
