Abstract
To assist in the dual carbon target, this paper aims to explore the influence of carbon trading mechanism on wind power-containing power systems. Therefore, the carbon trading mechanism is taken into account in the optimal dispatching of wind power-containing power system. The objective is to minimize the total of carbon trading costs and generation costs with introducing carbon trading costs into the conventional economic dispatch, which is solved by optimization calculation in EasySolve computing platform. For wind power cost model, wind power generation cost is used, and spinning reserve cost and output deviation compensation cost are added in consideration of the uncertainty of wind power. And it is validated using the IEEE39-bus system and found to be both economical and low-carbon. The study also looks into the influence of carbon price on emissions and costs, concluding that selecting an appropriate carbon trading price range can be effective in cutting emissions while controlling costs.
