Abstract
The ability to provide lower latency, greater transmission speed, wide bandwidth, and possibility to connect with greater multiple devices make the fifth(5G) generation network better as compared to 4G network. In this work an array of 3 elements is proposed to be operated in the 24GHz frequency for 5G application. The array consists of three equally spaced dollar shaped patch on FR-4 substrate with a thickness of 0.8mm. HFSS software is used to evaluate the parameters of the antenna. The antenna resonates at 24GHz with a return loss of −35dB, gain of 9dBand efficiency of 85%.
