Abstract
The mathematical model of the thermo-stressed state of an electrically conductive tubular element influenced by a nonstationary electromagnetic field of impulse type has been proposed. The initial boundary value problems are formulated, and their general solutions are obtained for the key functions, which are the axisymmetric terms of the vector of magnetic field strength, the radial component of the displacement vector, and the temperature. A numerical study of the thermo-mechanical behavior of the considered element influenced by the action of an electromagnetic impulse is performed.
