Abstract
This article describes different approaches of heat transfer modelling in composite materials. Particularly, the specific properties of particle reinforced composites what set requirements for the modeling methods are presented. Fourier's law, Boltzmann transport equation and Molecular dynamics are compared as approaches for solving of heat transfer problem. The area of application, advantages and limitation of the methods are presented.
