Abstract

We demonstrate an O-band SOH Mach-Zehnder modulator (MZM), enabling 192GBd PAM4 transmission at 384 Gbit/s with sub-volt drive voltages. This is the highest line rate so far demonstrated with an MZM on the silicon platform.
