Abstract
The deployment of 5G technology will bring society better connectivity and new real-time use cases. The implementation of this technology is under a gradual development restricted by the rhythm at which infrastructure is deployed. Several studies have reported different types of health effects related to radiation exposure. Nevertheless, the amount of information found is still scarce. Besides, the increase of devices working at high frequencies and to which people are usually exposed for several hours every day, is raising public concern about safety of new technologies. This work aims to study the RF exposure setup for radiation exposure assessment at frequencies used in 5G (700MHz, 3.5GHz) and some others used in today’s technologies such as WiFi (2.45GHz), RFID (866MHz) and GSM (900MHz). This experimental setup allows the assessment of the effects of developmental RFR exposures in zebrafish (Danio rerio) and exposure to 700MHz and 3500MHz at the embryonic stage and possible association with Daily mortality, Hatching, Spontaneous tail movements, Heartbeat, Biometry, Locomotion, and Anxiety at several points throughout development up to 120h post fertilization (hpf).
