Abstract
This paper provides a conceptual analysis of "Last-Mile Connectivity" in aspects of internet connectivity, exploring the limitations and challenges which can arise in the delivery of internet services to the end-users. This work elaborates on the importance and necessity of effective communication. It provides a brief overview of how the last-mile connectivity of a communication network can be a bottleneck that limits the amount of data that can be delivered to end-users, mainly in rural and remote areas. By adopting the analogy of the daily transport system, this work illustrates the concept of last-mile connectivity and its interconnections with the backbone network. In addition, this paper examines the current state of last-mile connectivity in India, where many areas still struggle to access reliable internet services. Overall, the article provides valuable insights into the complex and challenging issue of last-mile connectivity and its impact on internet connectivity for end-users.
