Abstract
Applications of Cyber Physical Systems (CPSs) can be found nowadays in various domains of activity. Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is a widely accepted solution for applications specification, deployment and visualization. UML Profiles are intensively used in modeling domain-specific distributed applications. In this paper we present a UML software Profile that allows the description of the behavior of such applications. The aim is to introduce the basic steps of a methodology for deploying CPS applications at a high level of programming. Based on the application requirements, the software stereotypes help customizing reusable software components. The utility of the presented UML software Profile is discussed using a case study presented in literature.
