Abstract
In the paper, focusing on the ultra wideband(UWB) large-scale planar array, an optimized design of large-spaced sparse planar array is developed. The interval of different elements can reach the half length of the low-frequency wavelength. Then, in order to improve the optimization efficiency, the block rotation law is introduced to reduce unknown quantity. Finally, in the case of a large-scale non-periodic circular array with an aperture of 0.8m*0.8m and 900 elements, it obtains high gain in the working frequency range of 7GHz-29GHz.
