Abstract
Due to the rapid development of the internet of things (IoT) technology, wireless connected devices and energy consumption have increased dramatically. Therefore, simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) technology and reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) technology are used in wireless communication systems to solve these problems. In this paper, we create the RIS-aided power splitting (PS) SWIPT system, to achieve the maximum transmission weighted sum-rate (WSR) of the system. We obtain the results by jointly optimizing the adjustable ratio of power splitting receivers (PSR), the transmit beamforming of base station (BS) and the phase value of RIS. It is also subject to a series of constraints such as the transmit power from BS and the minimum operating power from users. Then, the new algorithm 2 (A2) based on the alternating optimization (AO) algorithm is used, and the simulation results in this paper show that the algorithm A2 can obtain 50% WSR and about 4 dB gain more than the without RIS situation and the RIS with random phase situation, improve the transmission WSR and increase the effectiveness of the system.
