Abstract
Solar thermal generation system is an efficient energy conversion system. As the interface between solar and heat, solar receiver is the key component of this system. In this paper, two mathematical equations for number of heater tube, heat transfer length of heater tube and the space position of centreline of heater tube are provided, which is based on turbulent forced convection heat transfer and optimal aspect ratio, respectively. Furthermore, a precise three-dimensional mathematical description for the centerlines of the heater tubes which maintains uniform gaps between adjacent heater tubes is provided. In the final, a design example is presented and a three dimensional solid model of heater tube arrays of dish solar receiver is given.
