Abstract
The equations for coherent and incoherent (diffuse) components of reflection matrix for a layer of disordered medium composed of chaotically oriented arbitrary scatterers, have been obtained. These equations are too complicated for numerical solution. We use these equations in a double-scattering approximation to consider the influence of particle properties on the opposition effects for semi-infinite medium.
