Abstract
Due to the aging of electric power facilities and the increase in electric power demand, the operation and maintenance of electric power facilities is becoming an important issue. Currently, power Oil-Filled(OF) cables for underground system in South Korea have an average lifetime of 20 years and cables used for more than 25 years are about 20%. In this paper, the lifetime of Oil-Filled(OF) cables are predicted. Moreover, a proposed replacement prioritization using Health Index(HI) in Oil-Filled(OF) cables for underground system in South Korea are presented.
