Abstract
This work presents a ultra-wideband phase shifter based on liquid crystal material operating from 6GHz to 18GHz. The liquid crystal material is encapsulated between two glass plates. The phase shifter achieves phase shift by applying voltage to the liquid crystal panel. The signal is transmitted across glass layers through coupled structures. The phase shifter can achieve a phase shift of with high FoM within the wide frequency band.
