Abstract
In this paper, a large signal computation model of the beam-wave interaction in klystron is presented. This mode bases on the one dimensional electron disk model with considering the space charge. The motion of disks of charge is tracked with time as the independent variable using Runge-Kutta integration. The simulation code named Kly_app has been compiled based on this model and it shows good agreement with the simulation results by AJDSIK. At the same time, Kly_app also adds simulated annealing algorithm for automatic optimization. Kly_app can be used in the large signal computer simulation of the beam-wave interaction in klystron.
