Abstract
In this paper, the simulation of X-band klystron electronic optical system is completed, and the size part of the electron gun and the focusing system are partially optimized. The electron gun uses a single beam axially symmetric beam scheme. The voltage and current of the electron beam are 95kV and 45A, and the average emission current density of the cathode is 5 $A$ / cm 2 . The focus system is designed with a uniform magnetic focusing system. The maximum magnetic field in the uniform area is about 0.57T. The calculation results show that the electric field lines are evenly distributed in the electron gun area, the electron beam fluctuations are even, and the DC current pass rate of the electron current reaches 100%, which meets the design requirements.
