Abstract
To investigate the impact level and characteristics of pollution distribution on the corona noise of 1000 kV double-circuit AC transmission lines with the same tower configuration, three pollution levels above the moderate pollution zone were selected in Shandong Province. Three sets of tower spacings were chosen for corona noise measurements. Comparative analysis was conducted using the noise data from different pollution zones. The experimental results indicate that as the pollution level increases, the A-weighted sound pressure level of corona noise shows an upward trend and exhibits non-linear changes. The frequency band of 800-10k Hz shows the best correlation with the pollution variation curve of corona noise’s A-weighted sound pressure level. The research findings can provide guidance for the development of corona noise coating materials.
