Abstract
We present a fully bonded misalignment-free single-diode-pumped Yb:ceramic laser producing 190-fs pulses at 2.2 GHz. Chirped-pulse amplification in a semiconductor optical amplifier yielded an average power of 69 mW and pulse energies of 32 pJ.
