Abstract
In this paper, an IoT-based health monitoring system using Arduino proposed and developed focusing on developing pulse oximeter for measuring parameters like heart rate and oxygen concentration level in our body. All of us seen a covid-19 pandemic which make all of us think about how we can monitor general health parameter and its importance in keep us healthy. In all over world, the price of pulse oximeter raised and its was available in black market with approximately 400 times higher price. After paying that much amount it was not easy to get pulse oximeter. We developed a system which measured the heartbeat as Bpm and Blood oxygen concentration as SpO2. Along with these two parameters we measured the room temperature and humidity condition to study its impact on heartrate and blood oxygen levels. For studying its impact, we measured this for 200 people and fetched pattern among those parameters. A person's BMI has a major impact on his heart rate and blood oxygen levels concentration. Gender also has a key impact on Bpm and SpO2. From the study it has been also found that the majority of the person's Bpm lies in between 65 to 95 beats per minute and majority of the person has SpO2 in between 94 to 98 whereas ideal range of Bpm is 60 to 100 and for SpO2 is 93 to 100. We can see the impact of athletic habits medicine consumption in Bpm as well as SpO2.
