Abstract
The development of generator design for a small capsule hydraulic unit has been considered; synchronous units with a brushless exciter and a brush-contact apparatus, with excitation from permanent magnets, as well as inductor generator have been considered as design variants. Electromagnetic, ventilation, thermal calculations, as well as calculation of dynamics and strength of main units of synchronous generator with a brushless exciter have been performed. The main technical problems are solved: reduction of mass-dimensional parameters of the generator, reduction of material intensity, ensuring lower production cost, increase of efficiency and increase of assembly readiness, maintainability of the generator, reduction of ventilation losses, elaboration of ventilation system, as well as increasing autonomous operation of the generator. It is shown that quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the generator can be significantly improved by applying the concept of synchronous apparent-pole electrical machine. The possibility of stable operation of the generator under various modes of use has been shown.
