Abstract
The paper presents a Pareto -based non dominated sorting algorithm II (NSGA -II) to determine the compromise solution for multi-objective reconfiguration in a radial primary distribution system. The three objectives function used to investigate the problem minimizes the total power system losses, load voltage deviation (LVD), and improves the system 's fast voltage stability index (FVSI). The final trade-off optimal solution is selected by using a linear fuzzy method. The modified IEEE 33 - bus radial system is used in the testing methodology. The results show that NSGA -II is adapted by using a network planning method that can reduce network loss and improve the node voltage level. The voltage stability index is improved by using this methodology.
