Abstract
This overview introduces an innovative analogue multiplier-based controller designed for a Non-inverting BuckBoost (NIBB) Converter capable of seamlessly operating in both buck and boost modes. This approach simplifies the controller’s design while also conserving valuable space and power resources. Furthermore, it demonstrates effective load and line regulation capabilities. The analog multiplier-based controller seamlessly transitions between buck and boost modes based on input and output voltage conditions. In practical terms, this 90-nm CMOS fabricated solution occupies a compact core area of 1.67mm 2 by 0.64mm 2 . It maintains a stable 0.9V output within a fluctuating input voltage range of 1.8V to 4V, supporting a maximum output load current of 200 mA.
