Abstract
Driver fatigue is one of the leading causes of accidents worldwide. One of the most reliable methods of measuring driver fatigue is to detect the driver's drowsiness. Drowsiness and fatigue are two of the maximum not unusual causes of car accidents. They can be averted by way of making an attempt to get sufficient sleep earlier than riding, ingesting coffee or energy drinks or taking a smash when signs and symptoms of drowsiness appear. The intention of this project is to create a prototype drowsiness detection system. This system works by means of monitoring the driver's eyes and sounding an alarm if he or she will become drowsy. The system designed in this way is a non-intrusive real-time monitoring system. The priority is to enhance motive force safety without being intrusive. The driver's eye blink and yawn is detected in this project. If the driver's eyes remain closed for an extended period of time, she or he is taken into consideration drowsy, and an alarm is sounded. Because of its importance, a driver drowsiness detection machine will be a crucial software for device vision and picture processing. We use a Simple code in python to detect Drowsiness and Yawn and alert the user using Dlib. We advise and put into effect a hardware machine based totally on infrared light that can be used to solve those troubles in this project.
