Abstract
With the analysis of phase generated carrier (PGC) demodulation scheme of interference signal, finding either by hardware circuit or computer simulation method to generate the frequency-multiplier mixing signal exist necessarily error. This error is one of the main factors resulting in distortion of demodulation results. PGC demodulation with multiple differential, integral and multiplication increases data that facilities process and reduces real-time demodulation of the system. To solve the above problems, the improved demodulation algorithm for interferometric fiber optic sensor has been proposed. Make the system design. Determine the minimum sampling rate of the improved demodulation. Moreover, the demodulation process is simulated with matlab and contrast the system input with output signal, which verifies the feasibility of this demodulation scheme. Use DSP to carry out the experiment of demodulation with input F-P signal of simulation to prove the feasibility of the demodulation algorithm for F-P optical fiber vector hydrophone array. This improved demodulation scheme has reference significance for demodulation of interferometric fiber optic Sensor including fiber optic hydrophones.
