Abstract
Aim of the publication was to show the process of designing and building a manipulator with five degrees of freedom with a structure adapted to manual control by a controller. The publication describes the problem of a manipulator that uses solutions used in industrial robots, but on a scale that allows it to be used in a small workplace in laboratories. The functionalities allowing automating repetitive activities are shown. The aim of the project was to show the possibility of using embedded systems applications in engineering education. The MIT App Inventor software was used for programing.
