Abstract
This paper analyzes the mechanism of parasitic frequency modulation caused by measuring tape drive jitter and gives the calculation model of jitter and time base error, which points out that increasing the signal-to-noise ratio in daily detection is not obvious for improving the playback signal. the reason. Combining with the widely used YJ2-18 double-density tape drive, the main working principle of this type of measuring tape drive is discussed, and the main components that cause jitter-the control process of the steady speed part of the spindle motor are analyzed according to the requirements of the jitter index. Quantitatively calculated the detection index of the time base error, and finally introduced two common detection methods of jitter and time base error qualitative and quantitative.
