Abstract
Compared with the traditional electromagnetic transducer, the electronic transducer possesses the advantages of small volume, light weight, wide measurement range and frequency bandwidth, etc. Therefore, the application of the electronic transducer in the power system is gaining more concerns. This paper analyzes the feasibility of fault transient current sampling by Rogowski coils. Based on the characteristics of electronic transducer, an effective method is developed to judge the short-circuit fault, which is combined with the multilayer perceptrons (MLP) network to finish the faults identification. In addition, a brief diagram of the system design and the implementation method are presented along the discussion.
