Abstract
Among various types of automatic test systems for electrical signals, It is common that specific systems would be built according to certain signal types. For most complex test objects with multi-type testing requirements, a simple collection of different type test system is not a good way to improve the efficiency of the test and analysis. It is necessary to seek a generalized and efficient test system that can meet the requirements of the testing, visualization, interpretation, storage and management for multi-type signal. In this paper, we propose a distributed and remote-controlled generalized test system hierarchy, which contains the layers of basic hardware, service support and specific application, considering generalized top-level design and reserved extendibility. Furthermore, we give an example system configuration with double redundancy, which can meet the electrical signals' requirements in high reliability, high efficiency and multi-function. The hierarchy has been successfully applied in the automatic testing of a certain industrial products.
