Abstract
Software defined wireless sensing network (SDWSN) has gained wide attention on account of overcoming the storage and computational restrictions. SDWSN, an ultramodern architecture, still has crippling roadblocks. One of the toughest aspects is energy confinement and imbalanced consumption. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient algorithm based on energy shell and dynamically adjusting communication radius. In our algorithm, nodes in higher energy shells have higher priority to relay data. Having several candidate nodes to relay data, nodes prefer to relay data through the nodes with the highest RSSI. Compared to most other algorithms the algorithm we are proposing performs better in reducing energy expenditure and balancing energy consumption.
