Abstract
Braille system was developed to eradicate the darkness of visually impaired people and make them gain knowledge for proper interaction with the World. It provides a new opportunity for blind individuals to learn and communicate more effectively with the rest of the World. In Assistive Technology, software-based text-to-Braille translation has proven to be a viable option. This paper presents a communicator, a hardware setup that helps visually challenged people to communicate, among others. The work aims to eliminate the divide between blind users and end-users in telecommunications and make them more robust by providing them with the total enhancements for interaction with others and servicing their necessities. A methodology is designed to create a Braille system that will enable vision-impaired people to communicate and engage.
