Abstract
A compact microstrip antenna with frequency reconfigurable characteristics is presented in this article. The proposed antenna consist of a circular patch with the partial ground is worn as a primary antenna which resonated at 3.2 GHz. When primary antenna embedded with periodic Structure the antenna can also operate at WLAN band (5.5 GHz).Then the proposed antenna resonating at 3.2 GHz and 5.5 GHz bands respectively, which also reflects that it has novel suitability to use as a WiMAX/WLAN antenna.
