Abstract
In this paper, a polarization insensitive microwave absorber designed for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) application. Triple conducting metallic patch designed on dual FR4 substrate. Top and bottom metallic layers are designed in such a way that radio frequency (RF) wave impinges in the dielectric surface. Third metallic layer between substrates reduces transmission. The absorption of proposed absorber verified on different incidence angle under TE and TM polarization. The result and analysis indicates that at 5.5 GHz, absorption exceeds 90%.
