Abstract
ABOPI is a new graphical password technique which is fundamental component of any computer security for public terminals such as ATM, ticket vending machine etc. This technique replaces static digital images with personalized digital image, which gives high resistance to observation attacks such as shoulder-surfing and camera attacks. Users need to upload their personalized image and then tap sequentially at three locations as a password. We present three viability studies of ABOPI — usability, significant and security. The usability study reveals that error rate is around 8% and task completion time is around 6s. The significant study tells that remarkability of this technique is more compared to textual password. Security study tells that this technique gives high resistance to observation attacks.
