Abstract
Hybrid perovskite solar cell is one of the most promising among the third generation solar cells with high power conversion efficiency and low manufacturing cost. The effect of variation in device dimensions on the performance parameters of the solar cell is investigated in this paper. The device dimension under focus is the absorber region width of p-i-n solar cell. The variation of open circuit voltage, closed circuit current density, fill factor and power conversion efficiency is evaluated for the same. From the analysis, it is deduced that an absorber region width of 300nm is the optimal width for maximum power conversion efficiency. Further, the device is evaluated for the optimized absorber region width and different doping concentrations for electron transport and hole transport layers. The higher doping concentrations yield better conversion efficiencies due to the property of greater charge selectivity.
