Abstract
The failure assessment diagram model is an important probabilistic analysis method in the field of structural reliability analysis. However, the parameters are usual uncertain in practical engineering, and the distribution of parameters is difficult to be determined. In this case, the traditional failure assessment diagram model is no longer applicable. Therefore, based on the interval theory and the stress-strength interference model, an interval failure assessment diagram model is established by converting the uncertain parameters into the interval variables. And then the reliability state, the uncertain state and failure state are determined according to the state function. The proposed model provides a new reference for structure reliability analysis with uncertain parameters.
