Abstract
High voltage direct current transmission technology based on modular multi-level converter (MMC-HVDC) has become the mainstream scheme of offshore wind power transmission. This paper proposes a method to improve the system stability and optimize the power operation range, ensure the balance between wind turbine mechanical power and DC electromagnetic power, control the constant amplitude and phase of AC voltage, and have the ability to prevent the converter from locking due to sudden changes in wind power. The digital physical hybrid model of eight doubly fed wind turbines is built, and the simulation results show that the designed control method has good dynamic and stable characteristics.
