Abstract
Aiming at the problem of frequency instability caused by high-penetration photovoltaic grid connection, the virtual synchronous motor has been extensively studied as a grid-friendly control scheme. For the frequency drop and frequency jitter problem in photovoltaic grid connection, this paper studies an energy storage photovoltaic power generation system to solve the frequency drop problem caused by power shortage, and introduces a controllable virtual inertia control scheme to improve the frequency jitter situation. The results of the experiment prove that the energy storage system can quickly restore the destabilized frequency to the rated value. The virtual synchronous motor variable inertia control can improve the frequency jitter problem in different situations and improve the dynamic characteristics of the frequency.
