Abstract
A novel mechanics approach for Artificial heart valves test equipment was developed. The system includes pulsatile pump, accumulator, rectangle cavity, flume, constant temperature device, offspring load and pipelines. The pulsatile pump was designed with piston pump that linear motor drive. Accumulator simulate flexible cavity to change intermittence blood jet into continuous pulsatile flow. This test equipment basically simulated artificial heart valves working condition and system was stabilized. In the heart pump control, the adaptive neural networks controller for a linear motor control system was applied. The proposed controller deals mainly with non-linear disturbances, especially force ripples. The experimental results showed that the neuro controller provides a pronounced improvement in the tracking performance and compensates for the feedback controller imperfection.
