Abstract
Based on Abaqus/Explicit platform, the 3-D FE model of rotary draw bending(RDB) for H96 waveguide tube has been established in this paper and validated by experiment, then the influence of process parameters on wall thickness variation of H96 waveguide tube in rotary draw bending was investigated. The results show that: wall thinning ratio and thickening ratio will decrease with the increase of the clearance between cores and tube. As the growth of the friction coefficient between pressure die and tube, wall thinning ratio gradually decreases while wall thickening ratio fluctuates ups and downs. As the increase of the friction coefficient between wiper die and tube, wall thickening ratio will reduce, but the wall thinning ratio increases first and then decreases. When the clearance between bending die and tube increases, wall thinning ratio slowly decreases while wall thickening ratio firstly decreases and then increases.
