Abstract
This paper presents a 64-element millimeter wave AiM system design, utilizing both ADI and Renesas chips, demonstrating beam-steering capability of ±60° in azimuth and ±45° in elevation. The experimental results indicate a measured saturated (EIRP) exceeding 55 dBm. Additionally, the system achieves a measured EVM of 3.5% during a link test using a 256-QAM 5G waveform, marking the successful demonstration of such performance in the 2023 Barcelona Mobile World Congress (MWC) event.
