Abstract
A quick method for the calculation of phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase switching overvoltages at the energization and reenergization of overhead power lines is presented. The determining phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase overvoltage factors present the same importance, especially for compact overhead insulation coordination. Starting from the mathematical model, and based upon this a realised computer program, the authors present the correlation between phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase overvoltage factors and different parameters of the network.ETX
