Abstract
This contribution proposes the use of reconfigurable reflectarray antennas, based in liquid crystal technology, as the radiating core of the next generation of wireless localization systems, at Ka-band. This kind of antenna is cost effective and is a potential candidate to improve the accuracy and dependability of localization systems in indoor scenarios. The design of a 28 GHz antenna is presented with a 46% efficiency, and the capability of steering a narrow beam in a continuos way.
