Abstract
Lidar has brought the much-needed revolution in the autonomous car driving technology. Combination of ABS (antilock braking system), Sensors and a novel pneumatic bumper makes the braking system of vehicles much safer and intelligent. Within this paper, we intend to provide an introductory overview of the technology, which will make vehicles much safer during high speed braking or in a crash. Finally, methods for the coordination between sensors, ABS and a novel pneumatic bumper were analyzed.
