Abstract
Atomic-scale sidewalls roughness smoothening thanks to high temperature hydrogen annealing is a key enabler for a low-loss (4 × 105) silicon micro-resonators for on-chip heralded single-photon bright quantum sources by spontaneous four-wave mixing.
