Abstract
We investigate the response of three commercial polymer (Polyvinyl chloride-PVC, Polyethylene terephthalate-PET, and Polypropylene-PP) under irradiation with high frequency (until 1 MHz) femtosecond (450 fs) multi-pulse $(\mathrm{N}=30-100)$ laser at $\lambda=515$ (2.9 J/cm 2 ) and 1030 nm (2.9 J/cm 2 ). Different series of straight lines are made on the surface of these polymers at irradiation conditions not studied before [1], observing different thermal and ablative behaviours between them.
