In 2021, Hering, an industry and fashion retailer with more than 140 years of industry experience launched a cultural and digital transformation project to modernize its structure. We faced several challenges, including the need for more technologies to quickly meet the business’s sales expansion. One of the first challenges was to form an architecture team responsible for developing technological solutions for the company. This report describes the strategies and approach adopted to form the team, in addition to the results achieved, the main lessons learned, and the mistakes we made. The report shows that the team’s cultural, technological, and strategic orientation is crucial to achieving rapid growth.
