Abstract
Good practice methods of optical and imagistic techniques are well known for successful applied on restoration and conservation activities. In this paper are presented activities regarding documentation on a Buddhist temple. The temple Red Maitreya is strongly affected by water infiltration and improper past restoration interventions, facts that determined the 3D documentation is an urgent matter. 3D laser scanning and IR thermovision recording were made, last techniques offered information about the past consolidation and intervention on the walls. Next to these photonic techniques also microclimate monitoring was made.
